GEAR UP
GEAR UP is a federal grant program dedicated to helping low-income students succeed in high school and beyond. The program empowers students to raise their GPAs, graduate, and transition to higher education by providing:

Academic Support: Targeted tutoring and college application guidance.

Experiential Learning: Fully guided college campus tours.

Consistent Mentorship: Dedicated support throughout high school and the first year of college.
Halchita Community Center
Halchita, Utah, is a small community with no local jobs, forcing working parents to travel great distances for employment. Because of these long commutes, children are often left alone until late in the evening in an area that historically lacked safe spaces for learning and support.
Thanks to the collaborative efforts of the San Juan Foundation and Utah Rotary Clubs, a vacant building was transformed into the Halchita Community Center. Today, it offers a vital afterschool program, a small library, a food bank, and a computer lab—giving local students a safe place to learn and connect.
The community center is filling a critical gap, but we need your help to keep it going. Your donation ensures these essential programs continue to thrive.

Nations of the Four Corners
Village sites for the Paiute, Ute, Navajo, Hispanics and Pioneers have been built on a beautiful trail system around the San Juan Foundation Office. These villages are used to teach about the different groups that have inhabited the area. They are open to schools field trips, the general public and tourists all-free of charge.
